وهكذا انقسم العالم الذي هو بيتنا والناس الذين هم أسرتنا إلى عالمين.. عالم البلاد الغنية، وعالم البلاد الفقيرة، ومع الفقر يزداد الجوع والمرض، الآن في العالم الذي هو بيتنا جميعاً، أكثر من عشرة ملايين طفل يعانون من سوء التغذية وتفشي الأمراض وانعدام فرض التعليم.. لذلك ولأن الطفل هو أصل المستقبل السعيد، كان ميثاق الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الأطفال وكان هذا الكتاب الذي يحتوي على لوحات متنوعة الأهداف يمكن للطف الصغير أن يقوم بتلوينها وللاستمتاع بما تعرضه من موضوعات مأخوذة من عالم الطفل، وتعبر عن هذا العالم، وهي بمجموعها تهدف إلى إثارة وعي الصغير وإطلاعه على حقوقه كإنسان وحقوق أخيه في الإنسانية.
