هذا الكتاب هو منهاج حاسوبي قِيَمي، يناسب الفئة العمرية من 9 إلى 14 سنة، يدمج القيم والأخلاق الفاضلة بمادة الحاسوب ليغرسها في الطالب من خلال الأسلوب القصصي، والمهمات التعليمية الهادفة، واحتواء الملفات – التي يتم التطبيق عليها من قِبَل الطالب - على النصوص القِيَمية الإيجابية.
يقوم هذا المنهاج على عرض المادة التعليمية بأسلوب التعلم بالمشاريع، والتعلم بالألعاب، والتعلم بالتفكير، والتعلم التعاوني، من خلال أنشطة ومهمات تعليمية مشوقة وممتعة ومشاريع متنوعة ومبدعة.
تتلخص مزايا هذا المنهاج الحاسوبي فيما يلي:
1- التعرّف على المهارات المعرفية والتطبيقية لبرنامج Word.
2- دمج القيم الإيجابية والأخلاق الفاضلة بمادة الحاسوب.
3- عرض مهمات تعليمية مشوقة، بحيث تكون محددة بوقت معين ليتم إنجازها.
4- استخدام أسلوب التعلم بالمشاريع للمنهاج، إلى جانب التعلم بالألعاب والتعلم بالتفكير.

7- مراعاة الفروق الفردية عند الطلاب من خلال عرض الأنشطة الإضافية.
8- عرض المادة التعليمية بشكل ممتع ومشوق وذلك لسلاسة محتواها,
9- تحفيز الإبداع والتميز في الإنجاز عند الطالب.
