يتناول الكتاب سبعة فصول يعني كل فصل منها بجانب أو أكثر من جوانب اللّغة العربيّة، ولعل هذا الجزء يحمل موضوعاً مهماً بين موضوعات وفروع اللغة العربية، ألا وهو البلاغة.
والبلاغة بعلومها الثلاثة البديع والبيان والمعاني، تؤرّق الكثير من المتخصصين باللغة العربيّة، والطلبة المنخرطين في دراستها وتدريسها.
إن الفصل الأول في هذا الكتاب يتناول القراءة والفهم، ويتناول الفصل الثاني تدريس البلاغة بالدراما وعلاقة ذلك بمهارات التحدّث والتذّوق الأدبي، أمّا الفصل الثالث فيتناول برنامجاً يوظّف تنمية مهارات الفهم والإستيعاب، ثم يأتي الفصل الرابع ليتناول الجانب التطبيقي لتدريس البلاغة بالدراما، ثم يعرض الفصل الخامس نماذج إختباريّة في الفهم والإستيعاب والتذوّق الأدبي.
ثم يعالج الفصلان السادس والسابع دراستين تفصيليتين في بناء برنامج لتنمية الفهم والإستيعاب، وفي بيان أثر الدراما لتدريس البلاغة في تنمية مهارات التحدّث والتذوّق الأدبي.
