"الصديق قبل السبق".. قاعة أصولية فى علم الصحافة، تؤكد أن حق الجمهور فى معرفة الحقيقة، مقدم على حث الصحافة فى النشر، فالنشر الصحفى وسيلة نبيلة لغاية عظمى، هى تقديم الحقائق الكاملة إلى الناس دون تزوير أو تحوير أو تلوين أو نقص أو تلاعب أو اختلاف أو اجتزاء أو تحيز، أو خلط بين الرآى والخبر، أو دمج بين المعلومة ووجهة النظر. لكن أشباه الصحفيين، وأنصاف المحررين، ممن تسللوا إلى المنهة لواذاً فى مصر، أصبحوا يفاخرون، وربما يفاجرون، بقدراتهم الشيطانية على تقديم الأخبار المزيفة، والأباطيل المصنوعة، و"الحقائق الكاذبة".
لكن السؤال: لماذا قد يكذب الصحفيون أصلاً؟، الأجابة: للبحث عن الشهرة، والتنفيس عن الأهواء، والحصول على الأموال، وابتزاز الشرفاء، بالإضافة إلى خدمة تياراتهم الفكرية أو أيدلوجياتهم السياسية، أو أجنداتهم الخفية، أو منافعهم الخاصة، أو مصالح من يعملون لحسابهم أو يستأجرونهم.. ألخ. وأسوأ ما يمكن أن يترتب على الكذب الصحفى، ليس فقط إقتناع بعض الناس به، وإنما خلط الوقائع والحقائق، بحيث تبدو الكذبة فى هذه الحالة، كأنها خلاف فى وجهات النظر، أو إختلاف فى زوايا الرؤية، وليست كذباً صريحاً، وهنا يتحقق للكذب شيوعها، وتكتسب قدراً من الشرعية. ومهما يكن الأمر، فحبل الكذب قصير، ومصير القصص "المفبركة" إلى انكشاف، وبمرور الزمن تفتقد الصحف الكاذبة ثقة القارئ، وربما تستوجب احتقاره، نتيجة لجوئها إلى هذا الكذب المتبجع، دون "لف أو دوران"، أو تكبد عناء إعادة تغليفه، بإطار يسنده من الحقائق الجزئية، أو التفاصيل الكثيرة. إن الموضوع الصحفى المثالى هو ذلك الذى يحتوى على عناصر قوته فى داخله، دلائل ثبوته فى ثناياه، ووسائل صحته بين سطوره، مسلحاً بالحجة الراسخة، والمعلومة الدامغة، والإقناع القوى، والإستنتاج المنهجى، والأرقام الصحيحة، والفكرة الجديدة، والوسيلة المثلى، والأهم تقديم ما ينفع الناس، ولا يشغلهم بالباطل والزور عن حاضرهم الحق، ومستقبلهم المأمول.
