عندما نودي على أسماء الراحلين تباعاً صعد ثلاثة شباب في عمر الورد الندي، ثم عادوا إلى ثلاث أمهات متجاورات مازلن يرتدين السواد، كان الشباب الثلاثة يشبه كل منهم أباه قبل ربع قرن مما أفرح قلبي الموجوع وجذبني على الرغم مني إلى مجلسهم للتسامر معهم، ولكنهم باغتوني بالسؤال الذي طالما طاردني وهو، "هل نجد أصحاب الأيادي الملوثة بدم أبائنا بين هؤلاء؟"، نظرت حولي فوجدت مجموعات من أطقم مندوبي الجهات المعنية الذين أعرفهم جيداً بسبب كثرة ملاحقاتهم لي على مدى ربع القرن المنصرم، كانوا يحومون حول الشباب الثلاثة كما يحوم المجرمون حول ضحاياهم، فداهمني الفزع خشية اقتلاع هذه الورود الندية الثلاث بذات الأيدي الآثمة للجهات المعنية، التي سبق لها أن دفعت بآبائهم إلى حتفهم تحت نفس الرعاية الخبيثة للوكيل المحلي العجوز، تمسك قلبي بالفرحة التي أهداها لى الشباب الثلاثة فارتفع صوتي بإجابة سؤالهم وأنا اشير ياصبعي السبابة نحو منصة الإحتفال الرئيسية مردداً عدة مرات عبارة "يكاد المريب يقول خذوني"!!.
