تطلُّ مجلةُ الكوفة من جديد وفيةً لشروط تأسيسها التي تُشكّل بوصلة عمل فريق تحريرها، فهي مستمرة في الحفاظ على إنتظام صدورها وإستمرار المستوى الأكاديمي لما تقدّمه لقرائها، من خلال المراجعة المتحفظة للمقالات.
وكذلك تواصل مشروعها العلمي الذي يقوم على مبدأ واحد لا تفريط فيه: "الإجتهادُ المتأسّسُ على معرفة وتحليل".
في هذا العدد يقدّمُ الباحثون ثمرةً جهودهم في مواضيع شتى، يتصل بعضها مباشرة بالحراك السياسي والإجتماعي الذي بدأت علاماتُه الأولى قبل أكثر من عامين وما تزال نتائجُه عصيّة على التوقّع، ولكنها ليست عصيّة على ما يهمّنا في هذه المجلة التي تُعنى بالتحليل والإجتهاد في البحث والإستنتاج.
تتوزع المقالات بين الإجتهاد البحثي في المقدمات التاريخية للحدث المعاصر وتمثلاته الراهنة، مروراً بالمؤثرات المعرفية والثقافية والإجتماعية، في بحوث تركّزُ تارة على بلد بعينه، كالعراق، وتارة تخطو خطوات إلى الوراء لتظهرَ ملامحَ الصورة العربية كاملة في سياق شامل تتفاعل فيه العناصر الإقليمية مع الخصوصيات الفردية لكل واحد من مجتمعاته.
أما المقالات التي لا تبدو للوهلة الأولى منتمية إلى الحدث الراهن قد اختيرت بوعي، لأنها تسلّط الضوء على جوانب إجتماعية وثقافية، وربما سياسية أيضاً، تتصل مباشرة بمقدمات أزماتنا الراهنة أو نتائجها، أو على المقدمات والنتائج معاً.
لقد حرصت مجلة الكوفة على أن يقدّم كلّ عدد منها فناناً تشكيلياً يتميز عمله بالتجديد و"الإجتهاد" ليتكامل الحرف مع اللون والخطوط في رسالة فكرية عابرة للأجناس الأدبية والفنية.
