ولما فككتُ التشفير من الزقزقة، قلت للخطافين في دخيلتي راجياً: هيّا، أقلعا، إذا حان الرحيل، وتوقّفا – لو دفعتكما حفنة ريح قدرية عند أمينة الحب الأوّل، ثمّ أخبراها عن شمس ربيعنا.
هيّا، ولا تكونا آخر عصفوري جنّة مهاجرين يذكّراني بغرناطة، وينقلان قُبل الغرام منها وإليها، ثمّ عمّ الضجيج حوافَ العش قبل أن يغيبا في لمح البصر مع فراخ ثلاثة، غير أنّي تركت الكُوّة مفتوحة تحسباً لعودة كانت محتملة.
وترشّف الزعفراني ثمّ أضاف: "الآن أتذكّر بعض الذي صادفني في "حَرقة"، أتذكّر سوار أمي وقارباً صغيراً موعوداً بجنّة، في حين كان الموج يدفعه نحو هلاكنا، مثلما أتذكر المسار والصحبة ورضيعاً كان يصرخ ونحن نغرق، قبل أن تعرف هوّيتي مهانة ورفضاً، إلى أن آزرني حُبّ ماريا ومدّ جسر التواصل...".
