أحمد عبده عوض أستاذ بكلية التربية قسم اللغة العربية والدراسات الإسلامية بجامعة طنطا، ولد بقرية دقميرة محافظة كفر الشيخ، واشتهر ببرنامج لقاء الإيمان، الذي كان يذاع عام 2002 على القناة السادسة المصرية.
الحياة العلمية والعملية
حصل على الماجستير والدكتوراة في الدراسات اللغوية والاسلامية من عام 1985 إلى عام 1992 م, وعمل معيدا, ومدرسا مساعدا, ثم, مدرسا, ثم أستاذا بالجامعة ذاتها
أشرف على عشرات الرسائل في الماجستير والدكتوراة داخل مصر وخارجها
عمل أستاذا بجامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة في الفترة من 1995 إلى 2000 م، وأثناء ذلك كانت له برامج دينية ثانية في اذاعة القرآن الكريم بمكة المكرمة, ومشاركات في الصحف السعودية, ومحاضرات في نادى مكة الثقافى الأدبى

عقيدة المسلم هي الأساس في سلوكه, وحياته, وبقدر ما تستقر العقيدة الصحيحة في قلب المسلم يترتب على ذلك خوفه من الله, وهدايته, وصلاحه, واستعداداه لليوم الآخر. وإن استقرار العقيدة في الأفئدة يتوقف عليه تنفيذ جميع التشريعات.
في ضوء هذا يأتي كتابنا (العقيدة والسلوك) محدداً لمفهوم العقيدة والإيمان, ومبرراً أثر الإيمان في حياة المسلم وسلوكه, ومحللاً أثر العقيدة في حياة المجتمع وأنظمته وشئونه, ثم يخلص إلى ظاهرة الانفصام بين العقيدة والسلوك, وفي إطار ذلك يعرض لعدد من القضايا المهمة.. منها مفهوم العقيدة.. حاجة الإنسان إلى العقيدة الصحيحة, مزايا العقيدة الإسلامية وخصائصها.... إلخ.
ولعل هذا الكتاب يكون ذا نفع في المكتبة العربية الإسلامية حيث يتناول أهم الموضوعات في حياتنا وهو (العقيدة وسلوك المسلم).
