"الروض الفائق في المواعظ والرقائق" كتاب يعتبر من الأدوية التي تساعد في عملية تطبيب النفس وشفائها من الأمراض المعنوية لعلم من أعلام الإسلام المتصوفين العلامة شعيب بن سعد بن عبد الكافي المعري المكي الحريفيش. وهذا الكتاب يعد من كتب الطريقة التي نالت شهرة واسعة لدى المسلمين والمؤمنين والمحسنين، عرفه مؤلفه بقوله: "هذا كتاب الروض الفائق في المواعظ والرقائق، يشتمل على خطب منزهات وأحاديث مرويات وقصائد وحكايات ورقائق وعطيات، ومناقب الصالحين، وذكر المشايخ العارفين، وتذكير أهل الذنوب والآثام، وإيقاظهم من الغفلة والمنام، ووشيته بذكر سيد المرسلين صلى الله عليه وآهل وصحبه أجمعين، ورصعته بقصائد من نظم الأولياء وإشارات من كلام الفضلاء تروق السامع وتلذّ بها المسامع، وتنشئ الخشوع، وترسل الدموع".
والكتاب مقسم إلى مجالس بلغت ستة وخمسين مجلساً، نذكر منها: المجلس الأول: في فضل الصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وفضل بشم الله الرحمن الرحيم، والمجلس الثالث: في ذكر الموت وزيارة القبور والترحم على أهلها، والمجلس السابع: في فضائل ليلة القدر، والمجلس العاشر في ذكر ما جاء في البكاء والبكائين من خشية الله تعالى، والمجلس الخامس عشر: في مناقب الأولياء رضي الله عنهم، والمجلس السابع عشر: في إثبات كرامات الأولياء رضي الله عنهم، والمجلس الرابع والعشرون: في ذكر معراج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، والمجلس الثالث والأربعون: في مولد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، والمجلس الرابع والثلاثون: في مناقب معروف الكرخي، والمجلس الثالث والخمسون: في مناقب الخلفاء الأربعة، والمجلس الخامس والخمسون: في فضل قول لا إله إلا الله، والمجلس السادس والخمسون: في سعة رحمه الله تعالى.
هو كتاب في الوعظ والإرشاد، يشتمل على خطب وأحاديث وحكايات وعظيات ومناقب الصالحين، وضمنه قصائد من نظم الأولياء وإشارات من كلام الفضلاء، وقد ذكر الأحاديث الكثيرة دون إثباتها، لكن إخلاص مؤلفه جعله كتابا مهما في كتب الوعظ والإرشاد.
