كما ذكر فيه جملة ممن عاصرهم والتقى بهم من العلماء والصلحات فى رحلته إلى مدينة" فاس" وما حولها من ربوع بلاد المغرب العربي الأقصى, فجاء هذا الكتاب سجلاً حافلاً لرواد الفكر الصوفى المستنير على هدى من كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وذكر من أخبارهم وآدابهم وعلومهم ما تصح به القدورة وتسمو به الروح.
