ولقد كنت قد عُلِّمت أنَّ كلمتي "يأجوج ومأجوج" كلمتان ممنوعتان منَ الصرف للعلميَّة والعُجمة وهما تُطلقان هكذا على الأقوام الهمجية الذين شأنهم الإفساد في الأرض، بصرف النظر عن قوميّتهم وجنسهم، فزاد هذا الإعتقاد من ساحة البحث، فوسّعها بدلاً من أن يُضيِّقها.
