J'ai commencé mon étude de Gog et Magog il y a plus de quinze ans au début des années 90 alors que je résidais à New York. Mes conférences publiques ultérieures sur le sujet n'ont jamais manqué de susciter un vif intérêt de la part de mon auditoire musulman dans plusieurs régions du monde. Les preuves et les arguments présentés dans le chapitre sur Gog et Magog dans mon livre, ' Jérusalem dans le Coran', a réussi à convaincre beaucoup de ceux qui ont lu le livre que nous vivons maintenant dans un monde dominé par Gog et Magog. Ils étaient facilement convaincus que la `` ville '' mentionnée dans le Coran à Sūrah al-Anbiyāh '(21: 95-6) était Jérusalem et, par conséquent, que Gog et Magog (et Dajjāl) expliquaient la `` guerre contre l'islam' 'qui se déroulait de manière inquiétante. avec le massacre et la destruction de musulmans dans tant de régions du monde.
