يعود تأليفي لبعض الفصول من هذا الكتاب والبحث في القصص القرآني، إلى فترة الثمانينيات من القرن الماضي، وقد طبعت بعض هذه الأفكار ونشرت في منتصف التسعينيات تحت عنوان: الإعجاز القصصي في القرآن الكريم، بشكل متواضع وتوزيع محدود مع كثرة الأخطاء الطباعية في حينها، وأحاول الآن مرة أخرى إستعادة البحث في هذا الموضوع مع حصول الإضافات الجدية والتعديلات الأساسية في المحتوى المنهجي والعلمي في أصل البحث، وذلك في ضوء معطيات التطور الحاصل في مناهج العلوم الإنسانية، ولا سيما ما يعرف بالعبر - مناهجيات حيث شملت فروعاً كثيرة من العلوم الإنسانية أو الإجتماعية والتي تقوم على أساس عجز المناهج التقليدية رغم التعددية في معالجة الظواهر الفكرية والثقافية ذات الأبعاد المدمجة، والمتشابكة، وذلك لتداخل الظواهر الإنسانية نفسها والإجتماعية بشكل يتطلب تظافر الجهود في العلوم الإنسانية، من أجل التدقيق في هذا الإشتباك والمناهجيات.
ومن تطبيقات العبر منهاجية، اليوم، هي: العبر - مناهجية المطبقة في اللسانيات، وكذلك الثقافة، وعلوم السرد والنقد الأدبي والثقافي، وعلم النص، التي أفرزها، تقدم البحث في مجالات: علم النص، وعلم تحليل الخطاب، واللسانيات، والمحاولات الجادة من أجل بناء أنموذج نظري ونقدي يجمع بين عناصر الشكل والمضمون في الأعمال الأدبية والثقافية وتمثيلها الإجتماعي، يتجاوز الشرخ المنهجي الذي حصل نتيجة الإنفكاك بين هذه العناصر عند الملاحظة التحليلية للخطابات ذات الصياغة الفنية والجمالية القائمة على التعددية في العناصر والإنسجام في التشكيل، ذلك بأن هذه الخطابات معدة أصلاً لأداء إستراتيجيات متعددة، على صعيد بناء الإنسان والمجتمع، ومن ثم تضطلع بمشاريع كبرى في هذا الصدد، في مجال التغيير الإجتماعي والثقافي كما هو الحال مع النص القرآني الذي وظّف القصص كفن، وهو يمثل عنصر مشترك في التوجهات البشرية، مثل الرسم والموسيقى، والتصوير، وغير ذلك من الفنون التي هي بمثابة اللغات المشتركة لكل البشرية والرموز.
