لقد كان الأديب فى عصور مضت يعرف من إمتياز أسلوبه, وبراعة تصويره, وموهبته فى ترويض اللغة, لتتغنى بما تحمله فى روحه من رؤى و أحاسيس. واليوم لم تعد الكتابة القصصية ولا الروائية حكاية ترويها العجائز, ولا سيرة يتسلى بها المتسامرون. لقد تحول الأدب إلى ألة أشد تعقيداً, ولا يحسن إستعمالها إلا القادرون, ولا يحسن مواجهتها إلا المتربصون. وأصبحت الملكة الأدبية لا تغنى صاحبها دون وعى فنى, ومعرفته عزيرة بشؤن الفكر والأدب والثقافة. وهذا ما يؤدى (فى ظن الباحث) إلى تحول الأدباء إلى نقاد فى مرحلة مخاض النص, وهو ما يسوغ مشروعية الحكم على أدابهم وفنونهم بالقصدية وسبق الإصرار؛ لذا حاولت البحث عن توظيف الأسطورة عند الكونى, وإتجهت لقصدى مباشرةً بعد أن مكنتنى شروط الدراسة الأكاديمية من عنوان يجمع بين البحث عن سمات الأسلوب فى لغة الكونى, و رموز التصوير فى دلالات أدبه؛ عسى أن يتكامل القسمان فى كشف ما أتوخى فيه ملامح الأدبية عند الأديب, إذا تجرد الحكم من إختبار الشروط الفنية للعبة السرد, التى يرى البعض أن الكونى بات يتقنها ويتمرد عليها فى أعماله الأخيرة, وهذا الأمر يؤسس لدراس أدبية نصوص الكونى فى معزل عن فنيتها.
لقد قسمت الدراسة قسيمين هما: (الصياغة اللغوية, والتصوير الفنى), وقدمت لهما بفضل يقل عنهما فى الحجم و يماثلهما فى القيمة, وضعته تحت عنوان (بين يدى النص), وإهتممت فيه بمقارنة الكونى نفسه من خلال سيرته و أحاديثه. ولأن أحاديثه نصوص شفوية, فقد كانت وسائلى فى تحليلها غير وسائلى فى تحليل النصوص المكتوبة؛ تناولت سيرته بالملاحظة, وأحاديثه بالتعليق فى الهوامش. ثم إستخلصت ما فهمت من تناولى فى مقارنة لأحاديث الكونى. ولأن الدراسة التطبيقية تستلزم تمهيداً (بمقارنة المتن الحكائى)؛ ليتصور القارئ موضوع النص, وأجواءه المؤثر فى محمولاته الدلالية, فقد كان لزاماً على الباحث أن يقدم للمتن ثم يلخصه بعد تفكيكه إلى حكاية رئيسية, وحكايات مكملة؛ يستخلص الباحث منها فهمه للمتن الذى وظفه الكونى فى النص موضوع الدراسة.
وفى دراسة التصوير الفنى إختار الباحث أن يتبع خطى د. ريتا عوض فى إعتبار الصورة الفنية تشكيلاً زمزياً لألفاظ اللغة وتراكيبها؛ فى دراستها: "بنية القصيدة الجاهلية: الصورة الشعرية لدى إمرئ القيس", وهو ما يظن الباحث فيه معياراً يمكن أن يكون صادقاً للنظر فى أدب أديب يقول عن نفسه أنه يؤمن بشرعية الرؤية الفلسفية فى النص.
