وقد جاءت منظومة العلامة الدردير في هذا الثوب الشعري الدعائي، الذي يتضح من خلاله مدى تمثله لمعاني أسماء الله الحسنى، وتعلقه وتخلقه بها، واتسمت منظومته بجمال في الأسلوب يتناسب مع جلال ما تحتويه من معان، أبان عنها تلميذه الشيخ الصاوي في هذا الشرح المختصر الماتع، الذي شرح فيه معاني الأبيات وكشف فيه عن خواص أسماء الله الحسنى.
