"جامع البيان في تأويل القرآن" كتاب للإمام أبو جعفر الطبري، المحدث الفقيه المقرئ المؤرخ المعروف، ولد سنة 224هـ، أخذ العلم عن كبار علماء عصره، وكان موسوعياً في ثقافته وعلمه، وحتى في مؤلفاته. ويعد كتابه "جامع البيان في تأويل القرآن" من الكتب الهامة في تفسير القرآن الكريم، وكذلك في مجال الفقه. ونظراً لذلك قام مؤلف هذا الكتاب "الأحكام الفقهية للإمام الطبري" بجمع المادة العلمية الفقهية لهذا الكتاب العظيم، ثم قام بتحقيق النص حتى خرج ضمن إطار هذا الإطار المعاصر.
وقد قسمه ضمن الأبواب (الكتب) والمسائل الفقهية. والتي جاءت على النحو التالي: كتاب الطهارة، كتاب الصلاة، كتاب الصوم، كتاب الأطعمة، كتاب الأضحية، كتاب البيع والقرض والربا، كتاب الوصية، كتاب الفرائض، كتاب النكاح، كتاب الظهار، كتاب الجنايات، كتاب الحدود وأخيراً كتاب الشهادات. وقد استقل كل كتاب بمسائله التي أوردها المؤلف مفصلة نقلاً عما جاء في كتاب الإمام الطبري "جامع البيان في تأويل القرآن".
