يتناول هذا البحث أرقام ونتائج الإنتخابات النيابية التي جرت في 6 أيار 2018، وهو يبحث الأرقام التي أظهرتها الأقلام في كل دائرة إنتخابية، ويحاول أن يحللها من زاوية بحثية موضوعية، ليقيّم أحجام الأحزاب والقوى والشخصيات إنتخابياً بحسب ما تظهر الأقلام سواء على مستوى الدوائر او على مستوى الأقضية المكونة لها.
كما يقدم البحث عرضاً لمراحل تشكيل اللوائح في كل دائرة، ولمحة تاريخية عنها، ويسلط الضوء على التحالفات النهائية التي أدّت إلى تشكيل كل لائحة.
كما نعرض أعداد الناخبين والمقترعين والأوراق البيضاء والاوراق اللاغية، وتوزع أعداد الناخبين الواردة أسماؤهم على لوائح الشطب عمرياً ومذهبياً كم صرحت عنهم وزارة الداخلية.
تغيّر الكثير منذ الإنتخابات النيابية السابقة عام 2009 حتى إنتخابات 2018.
فخلال السنوات التسع الماضية عرف لبنان والمنطقة أحداثاً كبيرة وتاريخية أعادت خلط الإصطفافات والتحالفات ووجهات النظر العامة، فالمنطقة شهدت خلال تلك الفترة إنتفاضات شعبية هزت شوارع مدنه من المحيط إلى الخليج، عندما شارك الملايين في تحركات انتشرت مثل النار في الهشيم في مشهد جسّد ترابط الساحات العربية فانهارت الحدود بين الشعوب، وما لم يتحقق من وحدة عربية بين الدول، حقق بين شعوبها.
في خضم هذه التحولات والتحركات، وفي عزّ إنقسامات المنطقة، خافت السلطة من إجراء الإنتخابات ولم تتمكّن من الإتفاق على قانون إنتخابات جديد، كان حلهم السحري بالتمديد، مرةً ثم ثانيةً فثالثةً ليعطوا أنفسهم دورةً كاملةً مجانيةً؛ وجدوا فرصةً قد لا تطول كثيراً في ربيع العام 2018 لإجرائها بعد تسويات أتاحت الإتفاق على قانون إنتخابات جديد.
