هذه السلسلة من أشهر السلاسل البوليسية للشباب.. رجل المستحيل دائمًا ما تجده في قلب الأحداث وقادرًا أيضًا على قلب ذمة الأحداث رأسًا على عقب.. يفكر ويخطط وينفذ ما لم يخطر على بالك قط.. متمرس في أنواع كثيرة من فنون الحياة.. كقتال.. التخطيط.. اتقان اللغات وغيرها كثيرًا.. له عقل ذو إمكانيات فائقة المهارة ولكنه أيضًا له قلب يحب ويشعر. فهو لم يكن أبدًا آلة خالية من المشاعر الإنسانية ولهذا نجد دائمًا لمغامراته طعم ومذاق خاص بها وحدها تلك هي سلسلة رجل المواقف الصعبة بل المستحيلة إنه رجل المستحيل.
اقتربت ساعة الصفر، في أكتوبر 1973م، وحانت لحظة المواجهة، التي انتظرتها الأمة العربية كلها. وكجزء من خطة القتال، كان من الضروري إرسال فريق أسود الصاعقة، لتحتل وتسيطر على الممرات الرئيسية في قلب (سيناء9، لمنع إمدادات وذخائر الإسرائيليين وقواتهم من بلوغ الخطوط الأمامية، حتى تتم السيطرة الكاملة على أرض القتال. وكن الملازم أول (أدهم صبري)، أحد ضباط الصاعقة، الذين هبطوا على ممر (متلا). ولأن الأحداث لم تسر كالمتوقع، وجد (أدهم) نفسه فجأة، رجل الصاعقة الوحيد، المتبقي على قيد الحياة، والذي ينبغي له أن يوقف الإمدادات الإسرائيلية كلها. فما الذي يمكن أن يفعله رجل واحد، في مواجهة جيش كامل؟! هذا هو السؤال.
