من عوالم «عندما ضجر التنّين» نقرأ: "... الإله الحقيقيّ هو القادر على إنقاذنا من الضجر" ثم صرخ التنين بصوت عظيم: "لقد دُقّت ساعة الموت يا جاورجيوس. نفذت الشمس في روحي. ولم يبقَ منها إلا جذوة يتأهّب الضجر لطمرها. هيّا اغرز رمحك في جوفي. وانتضِ سيفك المسنون، واجدع عنقي. فأنا لن أقاوم. لقد بلغني أنك قويّ جداً. وقوتك تزيّن لك أنك منتصر. ولكنك مهزوم. كلّنا مهزومون برسم الموت الضجر يهزمنا جميعاً".
