إن الحاجة تشتد اليوم إلى اتخاذ القدوة، التي تستطيع أن تحدد للأمة معالم الطريق القويم، الذي ضل عنا، أو ضللنا عنه، ومن ثم صار انفلات الأخلاق سمة، يتصف بها القاصي والداني، في شتى المجالات وغابت الرؤية الواعية، والحس الديني، وضل عن كثير من الناس القيم التي أمر بها ديننا الحنيف، واختلط الحابل بالنابل، وتحدث الرويبضة في شأن الناس، واشتعل غير أهل العلم بالفتو، وساءت أخلاق الناس، وما ذاك إلا لغياب القدوة من حياتنا، ولا سبيل لعودة الأخلاق التي نفتقدها إلا بالإقتداء بسنة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقد كان خلقه صلى الله عليه وسلم منهاج حياة، فحري بنا أن نلتمس القدوة في سيرته، فعن مالك أنه بلغه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال تركت فيكم أمرين لن تضلوا ما تمسكتم بهما كتاب الله وسنة نبيه. لذا سنعرض ومضات من أخلاق الرسول تضئ لنا طريق الهداية.
