لقد شهدت العلوم الإنسانية بالدور العظيم الذي يقوم به الخلُق النبيل في بناء المجتمعات الحضارية ، وخصوصاً خلق المصطفى الذي كان – ولا يزال – هداية للحائرين ونزهة للمتقين ، وشهد به العدو والصاحب والقاصي والداني ، بما شاع من رحمته بالإنسان والحيوان ، ومن عفوه عن اليهود والمشركين ، وغير ذلك . وقد قال ابن حزم رحمه الله : (( لو لم يكن له معجزة غير سيرته لكفى )) فما أحوج البشرية إلى التحلي بأخلاقه التي أثنى الله عليها بقوله : { وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم } . وكما قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها عندما سئلت عن خلقه صلى الله عليه وسلم كان خلقه القرآن فحري بنا أن نترسم خطى النبي في أخلاقه وصفاته وحياته , فهذا غيض من فيض , وقليل من كثير , وأنى للورى أن يحيطوا بكمال أخلاقه وعظيم صفاته؟!
