هذه الرسالة للشيخ القدوة عماد الدين أحمد بن إبراهيم بن عبد الرحمن الواسطي المعروف بابن شيخ الحزاميين، وهي رسالة لطيفة منيفة، أسماها: ((التذكرة والاعتبار والانتصار للأبرار))، بعثها لكوكبة من المشايخ الأعلام من أصحاب شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية، يوصيهم فيها بملازمة الشيخ والحث على اتباع طريقته، في وقت تكالب فيه أهل البدع والضلال والباطل من الطرقية، والمتزلفين والمنتفعين. وكان من ضريبة الدعوة إلى الله والقيام بمهمة الإصلاح الديني: تألب أهل البدع والمنافقين ضد الذين هم ـ بالحق ـ قائمون، في زمان ابتعد فيه أهله عن الدين القويم اعتقاداً وتعبداً، فكان المتعيِّن على أهل العلم أن يرشدوا الناس إلى ما هو الحق، ولا تأخذهم في ذلك لومة لائم ...؛ وهو مما لابد منه لمن قام بواجب هذا الدين، فلم يحتمل أهل الباطل أن يروا تصدر الحق وأهله، وقد صار لهم صولة وجولة، فضاق ذرعهم من سماعه، حتى بلغ حقدهم الزبى... ونرى ذلك ـ يا سبحان الله ـ يتكرر في كل زمان ومكان، فكل من أخذ بالحق وسبيله... حاربه دعاة الباطل وأهله... وقد قام المؤلف بالاعتناء بهذا الأثر، وترجم للمصنف معرِّفاً به، وقام بالتعليق في بعض المواضع بما دعت إليه الحاجة. ينصح به: كل ناشد للحق؛ يبغي الوقوف على حقيقة ما هو عليه شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله تعالى، وبيان زيف المزيفين.
