طلب مني من لا أستطيع التواني في تلبية طلبه أن أيسر كتاب قطر الندى، وبل الصدى للإمام الجليل: ابن هشام الأنصاري من أبرز نحاة القرن الثامن الهجري، لطلاب الشهادة الإعدادية بالأزهر الشريف، ولغيرهم ممن يريد النحو رائقًا رائعًا، مرتبًا، خاليًا من الحشو، ومن المذاهب الفلسفية، والنظرات، التي تبعد بطالب النحو عن الهدف الأصيل من دراسته: حفظ اللسان، والقلم عن الخطأ في الضبط، والوصول إلى فهم الكتاب، والسنة، فهمًا سليمًا من الصياغة السامية، والبلاغة الراقية، ولقد وجد هذا المطلب رغبة صادقة مني، وإخلاصًا للعلم، إرضاء لرب العلم، وتنفيذًا لرغبة وأمر الرسول الأعظم "أرشدوا أخاكم فقد ضل".
وقد ترجمت ما تقدم إلى عطاء علمي، أبرزه ما يلي: الحفاظ على تراث ابن هشام، فهو تراث من نعتز بهم، ولا نفرط في تراثهم، عرض الأبواب، والموضوعات عرضًا ميسرًا، مبسوطًا، قريبًا من لغة العصر، كما تفعل النحلة برائق الزهر، وتحوله إلى عسل "فيه شفاء للناس"، أتبعت كل موضوع بأسئلة، وتطبيقات، ونموذج إعرابي، تيسر على القارئ المراجعة، وتجعله يلم- في النهاية- بإعراب مفصل لكل ما تصبو إليه نفسه.
شرحت الشواهد، وأعربتها: موجزًا، ومطنبًا على حسب المقتضيات..، عنيت بمواطن الاستشهاد، وإبراز القواعد...، وعرفت بالنحاة تعريفًا موجزًا، قدمت بين يدي بعض الموضوعات ما ينير الطريق أمام القارئ..، عنيت بالضبط- ما أمكن ذلك- حتى لا أشق على القارئ الشادي، وضعت كثيرًا من الأمثلة الهادفة، والعبارات التي تشير إلى نصح ديني وتربوي، واجتماعي للشباب، أملًا في أن يعودوا إلى ماضي شباب هذه الأمة: نقاءًا، وأدبًا، وتقيًا.
