النحو للغة العربية، هو ميزانها الذي من خلاله يستقيم لسانها، وليس من نفع في تدبيج مقالات، ونظم قصائد، وإلقاء خطب، وو... إذا لم يكن أصحابها قويمو اللسان، يجري النحو في تآليفهم مجرى الماء العذب السلسبيل، متجنبين تلك الأخطاء النحوية التي تفسد أعمالهم، وتجعلها ركيكة البنيان.
لذا كانت مؤلفات النحو من المؤلفات المهمة لكل دارس للغة العربية، ويعتبر كتاب "شرح قطر الندى وبل الصدى من المؤلفات المهمة في هذا الباب.
من هنا، يأتي هذا الكتاب "قوح الشذا بتيسير شرح قطر الندى" الذي سعى المؤلف إلى تيسير أصله أي كتاب شرح قطر الندى، وذلك بتحليل عباراته، وتفسير إشاراته، وتفصيل مجمله، وتبين مبهمه، وتأويل مشكله، وإستخراج لآلئه، وإستظهار مكامنه، كي يتسنى للناشئة إزدراده وإستمراؤه، وإستساغته وإستيعابه على الوجه القويم.
وقد جاء منهجه على النحو التالي: 1-إبراز العناصر الأساسية للدرس، وذلك بتوضيح ما يتصل به من القضايا المختلفة والظواهر المتعددة، والمواطن المحسوسة التي تربط بين اللغة والإنسان، فتعكس ما للغة على الإنسان، وما للإنسان على اللغة، 2-شرح كل عنصر من عناصر الدرس على حدة وبيانه بياناً شافياً لا لبس فيه ولا إبهام، متبعاً ذلك بطرح أسئلة متنوعة تشمل كل عنصر من عناصره، وأخرى تتناول بعض الظواهر الموجودة في اللغة والإنسان، وثالثة تبين الحكمة من وجوه اللغة العربية في التراكيب والأعاريب، ورابعة تبين الخطأ والصواب، وخامسة تبرز ألواناً من الأسر النحوية التي يجمع بين أفراد كل منها حكم إعرابي عام، وإن اختلفت ألفاظها ودلالاتها مثل: النواسخ والأسماء الخمسة، والأفعال الخمسة، والأسماء الممنوعة من الصرف وما إليها.
وبعد طرح الأسئلة يجيب الطلاب عن كل منها شفوياً وتحريرياً... ومن خلال هذه المنهجية خرج كتاب "شرح قطر الندى وبل الصدى" للمهتمين باللغة العربية ونحوها من مباحث ودارس وطالب، في صورة سؤال وجواب من أوله إلى آخره، بحيث يأتي ذلك بمثابة طريقة ميسرة تجعل من النحو مادة مسهل تناولها، غير عصبية على الأذهان ولا على اللسان.
