قبل سنوات ليست بقليلة كانت وما تزال لدى هواية نمت وبوبت بشكل علمى وتوثيقى توج ذلك قبل سنوات عشر فى معرض أقمته فى قاعة المركز الثقافى الملكى فى العاصمة الأردنية عمان ضمن مجموعة لا تتجاوز الثلاثين صورة فوتوغرافية قديمة بسيطة بطابعها وجميلة بلونيها الأبيض والأسود الذى أحيا ببياضه أنوار الذاكرة والذكريات وكحل بسواده عيون كل محبى بغداد وأهلها. جاء كل ذلك من فكرة محبة تلك الأم والأخت والحبيبة بغداد من مبدأ التخليد أولاً حيث لا يمكن للإنسان أن يرصد كل ما تركه التاريخ مجتمعاً فى الذاكرة ولكن بعض الشواهد لا يمكن إلا أن تحيى حسنا التاريخى وتثرى مخيلتنا عندما نتصفح ذكريات بغداد بحياتها اليومية المعاشة وما تركته لنا من إبداعات معمارية. إن هذه المجموعة الصورية التى تردف المكتبة العلمية وتساعد الباحثين والمتخصصين قد لا تقدم لائحة جمالية فوتوغرافية بقدر ما هى صورة توثيقية يمكن لنا أن نتسامح عن المستوى الفنى حيث القيمة والمعنى التى تحملها. آملين أن تحفز المقتنين لمثل هذه الأعمال الفنية من أجل توثيقها خوفاً من التلف والضياع.
