لقد انطوت الدراسة على الجزء الأول وتركز على نشأة وتكوين المحكمة الجنائية الدولية... تتبعنا فيه جزأين هما الفكرة والتكوين وإنتقال المحكمة من النظام المؤقت إلى النظام الدائم وثمّ الجزء الآخر واصلنا فيه ملاحقة تطور المحكمة إلى نشأة والتكوين وفصلنا في هذا الجزء هيكلية المحكمة وإختصاصاتها القضائي وكذلك المبادئ الخاصة بالمحكمة والتكوين الجنائية الدولية والفرق بين المحكمة ومحكمة العدل الدولية والقواعد القانونية المطبقة في المحكمة وغيرها من المواضيع التي وجدناها مهمة وذات جدوى وصلة بالموضوع.
وركز الجزء الثاني على مجموعة الوثائق الأساسية التي شملت أولاً النظام الأساسي للمحكمة (إتفاقية روما) والوثائق المكملة التي بمجموعها تعد نصوصاً شارحة ومفسرة لا تعادل النص الأصلي من حيث قوة الأصلي من حيث قوة الإلزام والتنفيذ.
قصارى ما حاولنا في هذه الدراسة، أننا عرضنا هذه المعلومات والوثائق التي تتصل بالمحكمة الجنائية الدولية ونشأتها وتكوينها ونص إتفاقية (روما) الأساسية، وهي تتصل وتتوافق مع الدراسات والبحوث السابقة في هذا الصدد.
