بين يدينا الآن كتاب (مدارج السالكين بين منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين) للإمام السلفي العلامة ابن قيم الجوزية، وهو كتاب يبحث في شؤون العقيدة الإسلامية.
والجدير بالذكر هنا أن العقيدة في هذا العصر قد اضمحلت في قلوب المسلمين-وهي الأصل الثابت لهذا الدين-وبالمحافظة عليها وبالتمسك بأصولها الصحيحة: يتحقق لنا رضوان الله تعالى في الدنيا والآخرة..
فهذا هو الإمام ابن قيم الجوزية يبين لنا من خلال الآيات الكريمة -والتي كانت محور الموضوع في كتابه هذا- المعاني الحقيقة للإيمان، والأصول السليمة للعبادة، حيث جمعها بأسلوب بديع في سفر نفيس أسماه "مدارج السالكين".
في البداية عدد ابن القيم منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين وعرف كل منزلة على مدة، مثل: منزلة المحبة، ومنزلة الخوف، ومنزلة الرجاء، ومنزلة الهمة، و... وبين بعد ذلك درجات كل منزلة من هذه المنازل والأنواع التي تندرج تحت هذا العنوان.
كما أتبعها بفوائد قيمة وأبحاث جمة تحدد بمجموعها الأطر السليمة للعقيدة الصحيحة فكان كتابه هذا جامعاً في موضوعه مانعاً في أسلوبه... هذا وقد وشى ابن القيم كتابه هذا ببعض الطرائف والحكم التي لا بد منها والتي بث فيها أفكاره وآراءه في مجال العقيدة...
كما حذر من أمور كثيرة كانت السبب في ضياع هذه العقيدة من القلوب... وهو في كل هذا يلتزم التزاماً كاملاً بالكتاب والسنة وبما صح عن الصحابة والتابعين رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين.
كتاب جليل القدر كثير النفع يبحث في السلوك وتزكية النفس، أقرب ما يكون إلى التصوف الحقيقي ومعانيه ودرجاته ومراتبه بالإضافة إلى تضمينه شيئا من العقائد الصحيحة التي ينبغي أن تكون عند المسلم. والكتاب بطوله وكما يظهر من عنوانه هو امتداد لسورة الفاتحة الشريفة.
