إن هذا الكتاب ينعش هذه المفاهيم الأساسية في رقي الأمم والتي ألح عليها علماء المسلمين بقولهم: " ما من شيء في الدنيا ولا في الآخرة إلا بسبب، والله خالق الأسباب والمسببات ". كما أكد ذلك إبن القيم رحمه الله بقوله: " لو تتبعنا ما يفيد إثبات الأسباب من القرآن والسنة لزاد على عشرة آلاف موضوع وإن من أعظم الجناية على الشرائع والنبوات والتوحيد إيهام الناس أن التوحيد لا يتم إلا بإنكار الأسباب وأنت لا تجد كتاباً من الكتب أعظم إثباتاً للأسباب من القرآن.
