ساعدت الظروف المتراكمة كلها والإرهاصات ، على ظهور مسرح واقعي ثوري في الجزائر ، وتبلوره ، مسرح ينطلق من يوميات المواطن الجزائري ، ومن طموحات وآمال وآلام الجماهير العريضة . يجسد المطالب الثورية التي تعني في أساسها معرفة ذاتية وجماعية واضحة ونقدا ذاتيا صريحا ، ذلك أن الإنسان الحقيقي يستطيع أن يتقدم ويتطور حين يعرف أين يقف ، أين موقع قدميه وكم قطع من أشواط حتى الآن . وكذلك فنواة هذا التحول في المسرح الجزائري ، تهدف في أساسها إلى الاتجاه نحو الشعب ، نحو الجماهير . وهذا بطبيعة الحال يعني الكفاح والنضال ، من أجل فن منسوج بحياة الشعب ، ويعبر عن أعمق أشواقه وأفراحه وآلامه . تمثل المسرح الثوري في الملامح البارزة للثورة الجزائرية ، مثل الإيمان القوي بالكفاح المسلح طريقا للتحرير ، وثقته الكاملة في انتصار الثورة مهما كانت التضحيات جسيمة ، وقوى العدو مدمرة فظيعة . إضافة إلى منظورهم الذي يعبر عن أصالة الشعب الجزائري لغة ودينا واحتماهم بقواه الروحية والمعنوية . وقد كانت هذه الخصائص جوانب مهمة وإيجابية في هذا المسرح . وقد تحقق ذلك من خلال ذاك التداخل والتجاذب بين الشكل والمضمون . فليس هناك قيمة حقيقية لعمل لافني لا تتمثل فيه علاقة التأثير المتبادل بين شكله ومضمونه . ومن ثم يتساقط كل نقد للمسرح يقوم على أساس إيديولوجي صرف كما يتساقط كل نقد جمالي صرف . وهذه الصورة الجدلية بين الشكل والمضمون ؛ ليست إلا انعكاسا لتلك الذات المنفردة والذات الجماعية ، أي علاقة التداخل والتجاذب في الوقت نفسه بين الفنان الفرد والمجتمع الذي يعيش فيه
