هذا سرد من واقع حرب رمضان المجيدة، وكل أحداثه حقيقة، وله ملف كامل في إدارة المخابرات الحربية، وأفرادها الخمسة على قيد الحياة، ضابط صاعقة، وثلاثة رجال هجانة (حدود)، ومندوب بدوي من المخابرات، شكل هؤلاء الرجال دورية انتحارية خلف خطوط العدو بقافلة جمال تحمل المؤن والذخيرة لكتيبة صاعقة أبرت، أنزلت جوًا في منطقة رأس سدر، وقطع الاتصال معها بمجرد الإبرار، وكان من الضروري معرفة مصير هذه الكتيبة وتحديد خسائرها ومكانها وإعادة رفع كفاءتها القتالية بإرسال المؤن والذخيرة لها حتى تنفذ مهامها في إغلاق هذا المضيق أمام مدرعات العدو التي سوف تتدخل في تهديد الجانب الأيمن للجيش الثالث الميداني أثناء العبور، وبالفعل نجحت الدورية في الوصول بقافلة الجمال- مخترقة مواقع العدو- إلى المضيق والاتصال بالرجال وإمدادهم بالمؤن والذخيرة، ونجحت الكتيبة في تنفيذ مهامها، وعادت إلى أرض الوطن.
