يأتي هذا الكتاب من ضمن سلسلة "ثورة المتخيل" ويضم مجموعة من التحليلات النفسية السيمائية كما الإناسية، وهو تأليف مشترك لعدد من الباحثين ومن إعداد الدكتور علي زيفور.
جاء الفصل الأول بعنوان "الأريكة العربية في التحليل النفسي وعلوم النفس، ويسعى لإبراز الفكر النفساني الأصيل لهذا العالم العربي (العالمي، وينطلق من القول أن الفكر التراثي العربي كما الراهن هو مشترك بين المسلم والعربي والفرنسي والإنجليزي والألماني، وأننا حاملين فلسفات هي عالمية البعد...".
أما الفصلان الثاني والثالث، فيظهران على يد العلامة الدكتور يحيى الرخاوي، وأهمّهما ما هو متعلق باللغة العربية في نضالها ومناضليها من أجل إستيعاب العلوم والمهن أو الإختصاصات والنشاطات النفسية المكتوبة باللغة أو اللغات العالمية السائدة في هذا العصر.
وأما الفصل الرابع فهو قراءة المحللة النفسية مرسلينا شعبان حسن في كتاب "علي زيفور" المعنون "قطاع البطولة والنرجسية في الذات العربية" تحت عنوان: "اللاوعي والبنية اللغوية والبنية المؤسساتية".
ويحتوي الفصل الخامس على تحليلات أجراها الكاتب خالد غزال، نجح فيها بالإمساك بفحوى نظريات المدرسة العربية في التحليل النفسي، وفي تلك الحقول التي التقط بدراستها كُنه مقولاتٍ في الحلميات والرمازة، وفي الخرافيات وعلم الإستعارة والمجاز والبلاغة...
وفي الكتاب أيضاً، موضوعاتٍ مخصوصة مستلة من المدرسة العربية في ثورة المتخيل والحدسيات والتفكير ومن تلك الموضوعات نذكر: "علم الأمثال والمأثور الشعبي الشفهي" وقراءة في الأحلام وتفسير إبداعات الحلم في حقول مترامية، كالأدب والفن والشعر...
