إن عصرنا هذا عصرٌ تكاثرت فيه الشبهات، وأصبح كثير ممن يريد الشهرة لا يجد لها سُلَّماً يرتقيه كالطعن في ثوابت الدين، والمسلمات الشرعية.
ولم يسلم من هذا الطعن شيء من أصول الدين حتى القرآن الكريم، فقد تعرض لمحاولات عديدة هدفها النيل من مكانته في نفوس المسلمين.
ومن تلك المحاولات ما قام به عدد من الكتاب المعاصرين من محاولة هدم القواعد المعينة على فهم القرآن الكريم، والمتمثلة في علوم القرآن الكريم وأصول التفسير، وذلك باسم التجديد لعلوم القرآن الكريم وإستعمال مناهج التحليل الغربية تارةً، وبإسم إعادة صياغة القواعد المعينة على فهم النص القرآني تارة أخرى.
ولذا فإن من أولى ما يشتغل به الباحث تتبع كتابات هذه المدرسة العقلية المعاصرة، والنظر في القواعد التي ينطلقون منها في تعاملهم مع القرآن الكريم.
وقد تناول الباحثون منهج المدرسة العقلية المعاصرة في التعامل مع القرآن الكريم من جوانب متعددةٍ، كعلاقة هذه المدرسة بالمناهج الغربية في تفسير النصوص، وموقفها من القرآن الكريم عموماً، ولكن يبقى موضوع مهم لم ينل حقه من البحث والدراسة، وهو موقف المدرسة العقلية المعاصرة من علوم القرآن الكريم وأصول التفسير بإعتبارها ضوابط لتعامل المفسر مع القرآن الكريم.
لهذا كان هذا البحث المقدم في المرحلة العالمية العالية (الدكتوراه) في التفسير في كلية القرآن الكريم والدراسات الإسلامية بالمدينة النبوية بعنوان: "موقف المدرسة العقلية المعاصرة من علوم القرآن الكريم وأصول التفسير دراسة نقدية".
