"نقابة الأشراف في المشرق الإسلامي" كتاب في التاريخ والأنساب يتناول بالبحث والدراسة نقابة الأشراف في المشرق الإسلامي منذ نشوئها في أواخر القرن الثالث الهجري وحتى 814هـ وذكرت علاقتها بالسلطنة ودور النقابة في تطور الحركة الفكرية والدينية والاجتماعية.
وقد شملت الدراسة ستة فصول مع مقدمة وخاتمة؛ تناول الفصل الأول نشوء النقابة من حيث أوليات كلمة الشرف والمصطلحات المرادفة الأخرى، أما الفصل الثاني فقد تعرض لدراسة تنظيمات النقابة ورسومها من حيث شروط إختيار النقيب وصلاحية التعيين ومواضيع أخرى.
وناقش الفصل الثالث علاقة النقابة بالسلطة من حيث مكانة النقابة، وشمل الفصل الرابع مبحثين، تعرض الأول إلى موارد النقابة وأوجه الإنفاق، في حين ناقش المبحث الثاني دور النقابة في المحافظة على شرف النسب من حيث التعامل مع الأدعياء.
أما الفصل الخامس فقد درس دور النقابة في تطور الحركة الفكرية، وتناول الفصل السادس والأخير دور النقابة في الحياة الإجتماعية والدينية.
