عن حياته
اشتهر بأداء الأدوار الكوميدية السياسية، الجدير بالذكر أن الفنان أحمد عيد ساهم بدور بسيط للغاية في فيلم حلق حوش ولم يلحظه أغلب المشاهدين نظرا لنحالته ونحافته الشديدة فقد ساهم بدور حارس أمن البنك ثم وطد صداقته بعدها بالفنان محمد هنيدى واشترك بدور يسيط في فيلم صعيدى في الجامعة الأمريكية وعن طريق الفنانة ليلى علوي تعرف على الفنان أحمد رزق الذي شاركها في مسرحية الجميلة والوحوش.

هذا العمل اجتهاد جرئ لمؤلفه، ومحاولة غير مسبوقة لدراسة فرضيات جديدة كل الجدة، بالنسبة لدراسى التاريخ بوجه عام، وعلماء المصريات بوجه خاص، وقد استند الباحث فى هذه المغامرة الفكرية على العديد من المراجع والمصادر العلمية الهامة فى علوم شتى، ومن بينها التاريخ والآثار، واللغويات، والجغرافيا المصرية، حيث انتقى من بين كل هذه المراجع ما يدعم فرضيته القائلة بأن جزيرة العرب كانت جزء لا يتجزأ من مصر الفرعونية القديمة وأن الأماكن التى درات أحداث التوراة فيها هى بالتحديد جنوب الجزيزة العربية.
ورغم غرابة هذه الفرضيات إلا أن غزارة ما يستند إليه الباحث من استشهادات تدعمها، يؤكد أن هذا البحث سيثير بالتأكيد نقاشا علميا خصبا.
