يسجل هذا الكتاب وقائع مؤتمر الشهيد السيد محمد محمد صادق الصدر ومشروعه النهضوي والفكري في الإسلام في بيروت برعاية الشيخ محمد اليعقوبي (2015) . شارك في المؤتمر نخبة من المفكرين العرب واللبنانيين الذين أحاطوا بكل جوانب علم وأفكار ومشاريع الصدر وتراثه الديني والعلمي ومنهم الشيخ حسن عبد الساتر الذي أثنى على الفقيد واعتبر أن مدرسته "تصدّر الشهداء، وتنتج أعظم العلماء، ومراجع الدين والدنيا" ، فيما أثنى الشيخ عادل الساعدي على جهود الشيخ محمد اليعقوبي ودوره في نهضة مشروع الصدر الذي قال "الشخص الرئيسي الأول الذي يعني حقيقياً ناصرني في يوم شدتي هو جناب الشيخ محمد اليعقوبي"، أما طارق الخوري، فقال أن "ما يجمعني بشهيدنا الكبير هو حبه لفلسطين ودفاعه عنها وإيمانه بأن محتل فلسطين هو العدو الحقيقي". وأما الباحث الإسلامي هاني إدريس فاعتبر أن الصدر "قتل لأنه أصبح يهدد النظام الطائفي ويؤسس لوحدة إسلامية في العراق"، واستشرف الشيخ عبد المجيد عمار الخطر الداهم الذي تعيشه الأمة لذلك قال "نحن معنيون ومدعوون إنطلاقاً من هذا المؤتمر وشهيد الإسلام (...) إلى الكلمة الصادقة التي يمكن أن تنتج موقفاً وتصحح مساراً، وبالتالي تحيي أمة وتنتصر ...". هذا، وقد وردت كلمات أخرى في المؤتمر للشيخ ماهر حمود والدكتور محمد صادق الحسيني ... وآخرون. وختم الكتاب بصور عن المؤتمر.
