قصص وأساطير مصر القديمة هي عبارة عن حلقات من الكتب الموجزة الدقيقة للأطفال تحكي تاريخ مصر القديمة وحضارته الخالدة، في ثوب قصصي مبسط، وتتكون هذه الكتب من حلقات لا تقل كل حلقة منها عن خمسة كتب، تتراوح صفحات كل كتاب ما بين 32-40 صفحة ومحلاة بالصور التوضيحية، وأهم حلقات هذه المجموعة وما يأتي فيه من قصص الملوك (مينا، خوفو، أمنمجات الأول، اياح حتب، حتشبسوت، تحتمس الثالث، اخناتون، رمسيس الثاني، بسماتيك، كليوباترا وقيصر، كليوباترا وأنطونيو، نهاية كليوباترا)، أما الحلقة الثانية فنجد فيها قصص الأبطال، والحلقة الثالثة بها ماسمي بـ" مغامرات سابو" في المزارع والحقول، في الأحراش، وفي المنزل.
