ومن الملاحظ على هذه الإنتاجات العلميّة والكتابيّة أنّها تختلف من حيث العمق والتّعمّق والأساليب والصياغات. ومن بين أولئك الروّاد الكبار، يبرز الأستاذ علي أبو الريش الذي شقّ طريقه منطلقاً، ثابتاً، مبدعاً، منذ أول رواية ظهرت للأستاذ أبو الريش، وهي رواية ”الإعتراف“ في عام 1982 التي فازت ضمن 100 أفضل رواية عربية واحتلت المرتبة 33 من بينها آنذاك. وعلينا الأخذ بعين الاعتبار أنّ هذا الفوز كان في أوّل رواية يخطّها فكره، وأول رواية يتفتّق عنها ذهنه، فتأتي ضمن الاختيار المناسب. وهذا دليل قويّ وجليّ على الإبداع من بداياته. وفي اعتقادي أن الأستاذ علي في كثير من كتاباته وروايته ينهل من مخرون التراث، ويستصحب أحداث التاريخ، وينظر إلى الماضي بنظرة إيجابيّة، ويعالج مسائل الحاضر، ويرنو بفكره إلى المستقبل. ولهذا تجد كلّ هذه الفضاءات في إصداراته التي يدور كثير منها حول فكر فلسفي عميق أَثْرَى وأثّر على إنتاجه الفكري. ومن جماليّات الصورة عند صديقي الأستاذ علي هو انطباعها بالطابع المحلّي في بعض الأحيان، مع إبراز ملامح العروبة، وتأثيرات الأخلاق، وتجلّيّات العادات والتقاليد ضمن الإطار العام للتنشئة الاجتماعيّة. والنّهل من مخزون التراث، بحدّ ذاته نوع من الحنين أو ما يُعرف بالنوستالجيا إلى ماضي الأجداد والآباء، ولكن في صورتها الإيجابيّة الإبداعيّة المتجدّدة.
