الحمدُلله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام علي اشرف المرسلين وعلي آله وصحبه ومن اهتدي بهديه إلي يوم الدين أما بعد: فإن القراءة بخلط الطرق حرام كما نص غيرُ واحد من أهل الإقراء ولذا اضطلع علماء القراءات بتحرير الطرق وتهذيبها صوناً لألسنة القراء عن اللحن وحفظاً لها من قراءة ما لم ينزل فأحسنوا وأجادوا ومن بين هؤلاء العلامة المتقن الشيخ ابراهيم السمنودي حفظه الله فقد نظم ما لحفص عن طريق الروضة المعدل في نظم جامع بارع اسماه" بهجة اللحاظ بما لحفص من روضة اللحاظ" غير أن نظمه كان في حاجة لشرح كلماته وبيان معانيه وايضاح مقاصده ومراميه.
وقد جاءني تلميذُنا الفاضل حمدُلله الصفتي فأطلعني علي شرح له علي هذا النُظم اسماه "لحظ الألحاظ" فوجدته قام بحقه إذ كتبه بعناية فائقة وأوضح معانيه أيما ايضاح وقد طلب مني مُراجعته والتقديم له قبل طباعته فأجبته إلي ذلك راجياً الله أن ينفع به ويجزيه خير الجزاء. وصلي الله وسلم علي سيدنا مُحمد وعلي آله.
