وعندما نزلوا يتفرجون على تلك المدينة، وجدوا صياداً أرخى شبكته في البحر ليصطاد سمكاً ثم رفعها فوجد فيها قمقم من نحاس مختوم عليه بخاتم سليمان بن داود عليهما السلام، فخرج به الصياد وكسره فخرج منه دخان أزرق التحق بعنان السماء وسمعوا صوتاً مفزعاً يقول التوبة التوبة يا نبي الله، ثم صار من ذلك الدخان شخص هائل المنظر مهول الجسم تصل رأسه للجبل. فأنخلعت قلوبهم من الخوف.. قالت الجدة: وفي غداً نكمل الحديث ونعرف ما حدث لهم. قال الأطفال للجدة: أكملي لنا الحكاية يا جدتي فما أطيب حديثك المشوق. قالت الجدة: وماذا يكون هذا مما أحدثكم به الليلة المقبلة إن كان في العمر بقية.
