إنني لأُحبّ أن أرى إطار الفنّ يتوسّع بهذه الطّريقة، لأنه ظلّ لمدّة طويلة حبيس أشكاله الكلاسيكية، يجب أن تعقُّب المدارسَ الإيطالية والفلاماندية والإسبانية والفرنسية مدرسةً واحدة هي المدرسة الكونية، فتُمثَّل فيها الأنماط الإنسانية برمّتها والمظاهر المتعدّدة للكوكب الذي نعيش فيه.
لن يحُدّ الفنّانون بعد الآن من فنّهم بإعادة إنتاج المثال الأوحد، وسيأتي الجمال الهنديّ والجمال العربيّ والجمال التركيّ والجمال الصّينيّ كي تنوّع بفتنتها الغرائبية رتابة الجمال الأوروبيّ.
سيُنوِّع النبات المستقدّم من كلّ البلدان أشكال الأوراق في لوحة رسّام المناظر، ويقيم تباينات منسجمة بين النخلة الشرقيّة وشجرة تنّوب النّرويج الموضوعة بجانبها، وكذلك بين تفّاح أرضٍ جزيرةٍ فرنسا وزعرور النّورمانديّ.
وستعمل هذه الصّور المعروضة أمام عيون الجماهير على إيقاظ الفضول وتبعث أحلاماً ورغبات، ستنشأ الرّغبة في أن يرى الناس بأمّ أعينهم بلاداً أجنبية وأن يُحبّوا نساءً بفتنة ذات غرابة، وأن يشاركوا في هذا الشِّعر الذي لا يزال مجهولاً لديهم.
