إلى أى حد نجح أرسطو فى تعميم مبدأ الغائية الإنسانية على الكون كله (الكائنات اللاعضوية- عالم النباتات- عالم الحيوانات)؟
ماهى الأشياء التى رأى أرسطو أنها تحقق أهدافها وأغراضها عن وعى وشعور وعقل مفكر؟
ما العلاقة بين الغائية والألية؟ هل هناك إرهاصات لفكرة الغائية فى الفكر الفلسفى القديم؟ إلى من يقترب أرسطو بغائيته فى الكون من فكرى العصر الحديث؟
ومعالجة هذا الموضوع جاء فى خمسة مباحث موجزة وخاتمة, المبحث الأول خصصناه للحديث عن حياة أرسطو وأهم أعماله وملامح عصره, وتناولنا فى المبحث الثانى الغائية فى الإنسان وذلك من خلال عرضنا لنظرية أرسطو فى النفس.
أما المبحث الثالث فيلقى الضوء على الغائية فى الكون, والرابع تحدثنا فيه عن الغائية فى السياسة عند أرسطو, أما الخامس فموضوعه الغائية وعلم الحياة أرسطو, وأخيراً تأتى خاتمة البحث وفيها عن كل التساؤلات التى طرحناها.
