"لا أريد إنتحاراً تقليدياً، لا أريد إلقاء نفسي من شاهقٍ، أو إطلاق رصاصةٍ من أسفل رأسي بإتجاه عقلي، لا أن أشعل النار بي، أو أن أنتحر إختناقاً أو غرقاً أو شنقاً، نصف كيلوغرام من الملح كفيلٌ بقتلي، لكن ماذا لو دفنتُ نفسي بالعسل - على الأقل لن يتحلل جسدي - ماذا عن الإنتحار بالشوكولا؟"...
تخيلت نفسي في مطعم بستائر وسجاجيد بلونٍ قانٍ، وجدران تندرج فيها الحجارة التي تكونها بألوان بشرة الإنسان من البني الداكن إلى الأبيض المائل إلى الإصفرار، جالساً في مطعم داخل جسدي، تساءلتُ عن وجود الطاولات الخشبية والكؤوس الزجاجية والملاعق والسكاكين المعدنية، طلبت الــ "menu" فأتاني بها النادل، لا أذكر من ملامحه إلاّ فمه الكبير وإبتسامته العريضة، "شكراً يا (وقرأتُ اسمه المعلّق على صدره بعينين شبه مغلقتين) لوسيفر" أومأ برأسه وتركني أنظر إلى الأطباق الرئيسيّة الثلاث: "الإنتحار بالملح"، "الإنتحار بالعسل"، "الإنتحار بالشوكولا".
