هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة امتلاك المرشدين التربويين في دولة الكويت للمهارات القيادية من وجهة نظرهم، ووجهة نظر المشرفين عليهم. ولأغراض الإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة قامت الباحثة ببناء مقياس "المهارات القيادية للمرشدين التربويين" واستخرجت دلالات صدقه وثباته. طبق المقياس على عينة الدراسة التي تم اختيارها بشكل قصدي من جميع المرشدين والمرشدات في منطقتي الفروانية والجهره التعليميتين في دولة الكويت للعام الدراسي 2012/2013، والبالغ عددهم (330) مرشداً ومرشدةً.كما تكونت عينة الدراسة من (10) مشرفات تمّ اختيارهن عشوائياً من منطقة الفروانية التعليمية، ومن بين جميع المشرفات التربويات من المناطق التعليمية في دولة الكويت. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنّ درجة ممارسة المرشدين التربويين للمهارات القيادية من وجهة نظرهم ومن وجهة نظر مشرفيهم كانت مرتفعةً وعلى جميع مجالات مقياس المهارات القيادية. كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة فروقاً ذات دلالة إحصائيا في درجة ممارسة المرشدين التربويين للمهارات القيادية تبعا لمتغير الجنس ولصالح المرشدات التربويات الإناث، وكذلك تبعا لمتغير عدد سنوات الخبرة ، حيث أظهرت النتائج أن المرشدين التربويين الذين تقل خبرتهم عن خمس سنوات يمارسون مهارات قيادية بدرجة أعلى من المرشدين بالذين تتراوح خبرتهم ما بين (5 – 10) سنوات، كذلك أظهرت النتائج أن المرشدين التربويين الذين تزيد خبرتهم على (10) سنوات يمارسون مهارات قيادية بدرجة أعلى من المرشدين التربويين الذين تتراوح خبرتهم ما بين (5 – 10) سنوات. من جهة أخرى، لم تظهر نتائج الدراسة فروقا ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة ممارسة المرشدين التربويين للمهارات القيادية تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي.
