كانت السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية دائماً في دائرة الضوء كما أخذت وقتاً طويلاً لمناقشتها في السنوات الثمانِ والثلاثين الماضية.
الجمهورية الإسلامية مسؤولة عن إحياء الشيعة التي تجتاح العراق، تمويل الجماعات الإرهابية مثل حزب الله في جنوب لبنان، التهرب من المعايير الدولية بشأن الإنتشار النووي، التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للكويت والبحرين، وتصاعدت إلى مواجهة مع حلفاء دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي في اليمن من خلال دعم المليشيات الحوثية غير الشرعية.
في الآونة الأخيرة نلاحظ تفاقم الأزمة بسبب التدخل الإيراني المستمر في الشؤون الداخلية للمسلمين بشكل عام ودول الخليج بشكل خاص، في حين أن الأزمة في اليمن كشفت عن الجانب الحقيقي للتوسع الأيديولوجي الإيراني وأهدافها وسياستها لتصبح القوة المهيمنة في المنطقة، وذلك بدافع من دستورهم ووصية الخميني لهم.
في هذا الكتاب سوف نحاول أن نثبت أن تدخل النظام الإيراني مدعوم من قدرته على إدارة حرب بالوكالة في اليمن، ويبدو أن الحرب بالوكالة والجيوسياسية بدأت تظهر في الأفق، وبذلك ثبت أن إيران تواصل حربها بالوكالة عن طريق إجبار الأطراف الإقليمية الأخرى على تشكل تحالفات معها.
اتخذت المملكة العربية السعودية تحالفها لتشكيل التحالف العسكري مع دول الخليج العربي لدعم الحكومة الشرعية لليمن، وبدأت في تقديم الدعم المالي والسكري كنتيجة لذلك، كما بدأت إيران ووكلائها من خلال ثقلهم السياسي الكامل وراء دعم المليشيات الحوثية مالياً وعسكرياً.
وتعتقد طهران أن أزمة اليمن هي فرصة إقليمية كبيرة للتوسع في المطقة وخلق قاعدة قوية ومؤثرة في الشرق الأوسط، إيران واليمن على مفترق الطرق، والنقطة المحورية لتحالف طهران والحوثي.
إن التدخل الإيراني في اليمن يوفر مثالاً رائعاً لما تصوره إيران في الــ "الغموض" المذكور في الورقة البيضاء لمنطقة رمادية "سوكوم" التي تسمح للجهات الفاعلة يتجنب المساءلة عن أفعالهم (كابوسنا 2015م).
