إن هذا الكتاب المائل بين يدي القارئ يتعقّب موارد الوحدة في تفسير الميزان للعلاّمة السيد محمد حسين الطباطبائي، الذي يعدّ من أهمّ وأفضل التفاسير في العالم الإسلامي، وذلك تميّزه في أنّ مؤلّفه سعى بكلّ إصرار إلى توفير فرصة فهم آيات القرآن الكريم في ضوء الآيات القرآنيّة الأخرى، أي تفسير القرآن بالقرآن نفسه، وهذا الحرص من قبل العلاّمة الطباطبائي قد ساعد على فتح نوافذ عديدة إلى المعارف القرآنية التي قد غابت عن أقرانه.
كما يعد هذا التفسير حصيلة لدراسة تحليلية ومعرفية عميقة، ناظرة إلى الروايات فضلاً عن الآيات القرآنيّة، في سبيل الحصول على تفسير مستمدّ من أخبار موثّقة عن أهل البيت عليهم السلام، الأمر الذي يكسب الإنسان مزيداً من القدرة على التحليل إزاء هذا التفسير الروائي.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك يؤكد الكتاب على المسائل الإجتماعية، وبخاصّة المسائل المعاصرة، إذ أنّ السيد الطباطبائي ضمن رؤيته إلى القضايا الإجتماعية، سعى إلى طرح تحليل صحيح وغير منفعل عن تلك المسائل والقضايا، وفقاً للآيات القرآنية؛ ولا ريب في أنّ الوحدة تشكّل إحدى أهم وأبرز هذه القضايا، فهي واحدة من المسائل المرتبطة إرتباطاً وثيقاً بالمجتمع، كما أنّ التفرقة والطائفيّة من جملة تلك القضايا أيضاً.
من هنا نجد السيد في رؤيته إلى المجتمع يتطرّق إلى مسألة الوحدة في مواضع كثيرة من تفسير الميزان بإعتبارها حركةً يجب أن تكون راسخة وقويّة.
