عبد المتعال الصعيدي (1313 - 1391 هـ = 1894 - 1971 م)
عالم إصلاحي من شيوخ الأزهر بمصر. ولد في قرية «كفر النجبا» من الدقهلية. ومات أبوه وهو ابن شهر فربته أمه. وتخرج بالجامع الأحمدي (1336) ودرس فيه، ثم كان أستاذا بكلية اللغة العربية بالأزهر (1368) وألف كتبا كثيرة طبعت كلها، منها «نقد نظام التعليم الحديث للأزهر» و «العلم والعلماء ونظام التعليم» و «تاريخ الجماعة الأولى للشبان المسلمين» و «في ميدان الاجتهاد» و «والوسيط في تاريخ الفلسفة الإسلامية» و «المجتهدون في الإسلام» و «تاريخ الإصلاح في الأزهر» و «أبو العتاهية الشاعر» و «القرآن والحكم الاستعماري» و «القضايا الكبري في الإسلام» و «تجديد علم المنطق» و «بغية الإيضاح لتلخيص المفتاح» أربعة أجزاء، و «الكميت بن زيد» و «شباب قريش في العهد السري للإسلام» و «الميراث في الشريعة الاسلامية والشرائع السماوية» و «لماذا أنا مسلم» و «النحو الجديد» و «السياسة الإسلامية في عهد النبوة» و «النظم الفني في القرآن»
توفي في 11 من محرم 1391هـ = 8 من مارس 1971م
Book Description
طُبع لأول مرة عام (1375هـ/ 1955م)، ويُعد من أهم مصنفات الشيخ عبد المتعال الصعيدي، ويرجع ذلك إلى مضمونه الذي يحوي جوهر مشروعه الذي جاهد فيه لتفعيل وإستمرارية باب الإجتهاد، وتجديد علم أصول العقيدة، وتحديث آليات الدعوة، والمواجهة والنقد، فضلاً عن جدَّة وأهمية القضية التي تناولها، ألا وهي: تجديد فقه الحدود، والحكم على المُرْتَدّ، تلك القضية التي ما زالت أصداؤها تتردد في كتابات المحافظين والمجدِّدين على حد سواء.
يكشف عن حقيقة الخطاب الإصلاحي الإسلامي، المتمثل في دفاع المفكرين المسلمين المعاصرين عن حرية الإعتقاد، إستناداً إلى إجتهاداتهم وفهمهم لمقاصد الشريعة، من خلال تلك المناظرة التي دارت بين الشيخ عبد المتعال الصعيدي والشيخ عيسى منون، وأثبت فيها الأول أن أصول الشريعة الإسلامية لم تكن قط مناهضة للحرية الإنسانية، ولا معادية لحرية البوح والعقيدة.
