يقدم معهد المعارف الحميَة لقرائه كتابه هذا بعنوان القدس: الموقعية والتاريخ، سعياً منه لإعطاء المدينة المقدَسة بعض حقها، وإعادة قضيتها إلى الضوء بعد ما غيَبتها مساعي الظلم والإحتلال. يتألف الكتاب من مقالات أربعة قدمها كتَابمن نخبة أهل الإختصاص، يقدّم حسن جابر في مقالته مقاربة حول دور القدس المعنوي كمدينة تقف جنباً إلى جنب مع مكة ليشكلا محور حركة الإسلام الروحيَة والتشريعية، ثم تطرح المقالة الثانية، لكاتبها إبراهيم بيضون، عرضاً مسهباً لواقع المدينة التاريخي منذ عهد الحكم اليبوسي فيها وحتى عهد أبناء صلاح الدين الأيوني، ثم يقدم سهيل زكار، في المقالة الثالثة، سرداً تفصيلياً لمرحلة ما بعد وفاة صلاح الدين حتى الحملة الصليبية السابعة، وفي المقالة الرابعة والأخيرة، يطرح زهير جلول المراحل التتابعية لاحتلال الصهاينة للقدس بعد أن يشير إلى بعض سماتها الحضارية.
