In the late 1980’s Loay Husain was a key player in a team of electronic and communications engineers in MIC (Military Industry Corporation) during Saddam’s regin. His vast experience in this field had him involved in many secret projects. In April 2003, just one week after the demolition of Saddam’s statue in Al Firdous Sq, in the center of Baghdad his life dramatically changed. He became a translator with a Norwegian TV channel and a human activist in many NGOs.
In this memoir, Loay Husain tells the epic story of his country drawing on his own personal experiences and those told to him by his fellow countrymen, bringing to life a detailed account. Also he talks about his perspective regarding the political situation and choas in Iraq and Middle East after 2003 which led to the huge disastrous situations in Iraq, Syria and Yemen then eventually the circumstances that led to the birth of ISIS.
Within the lines of this memoir, there is a clear message to the world which says, "Enough Wars." But also, this message tries to clarify and answer huge questions like؛ Who are behind ISIS? Who supported them? Who created them? Therefore who should be prosecuted for their crimes against humanity? Mnay shocking facts and figures are mentioned in this memoir, which will help you find the answers by yourself. Then participate and contribute in stopping bombings and killing innocent people in Istanbul, Ankara, Paris, Brussels, Orlando, Nice and… God only knows which country or city is next?
It is an "Ode To Peace", and you are highly invited to participate in it!
