لذا كان هذا الكتاب لإلقاء الضوء على تقنيات الإرسال والاستقبال التلفزيوني عبر الأقمار الصناعية جاء ذلك ضمن أبواب سبعة تناول المؤلف من خلالها: نظم الأقمار الصناعية ومفاهيمها الأساسية والأطراف ذات الفتحة الصغيرة جداً ثم انتقل للحديث عن الأقمار الصناعية الإذاعية والنظم التلفزيونية وأجهزة التلفزيون ونظم التوزيع ثم التركيب والصيانة ليتناول بعد ذلك توضيح تقنية عمل القمر الصناعي العربي ثم ليقدم اصطلاحات فنية خاصة بالأقمار الصناعية.
