له في علم الدلالة كُتيّب بعنوان المصطلحات العلميّة في الترجمة صدر عن الجامعة المفتوحة حيث كان مسؤولًا عن قسم الترجمة.
رواية لن أغادر منزلي هي روايته المطبوعة الأولى.

في البدء كان الاسم. بضعة أحرف، صوت، يطلقونه عليك فترث معه جعبة كاملة فخّخها الحب والانتماء: للعائلة وللوطن، للمدرسة وللشجرة الهرمة أمام المنزل، لرائحة الجدّة ولصورٍ عائليّة بالأبيض والأسود.
في البدء كانت الهويّة، وصمة، لعنة، فرزٌ بيولوجيّ ظرفيّ واعتباطيّ لكائن يتنفّس للمرّة الأولى، يبكي للمرّة الأولى في موقفٍ هو الأصدق أمام فوضى الوجود.
يحمل بطل هذه الرواية أوطانًا كثيرة، ووجوهًا أكثر. هو عربيٌّ وليس عربيًّا. بل إنّه الأكثر عروبةً، والأكثر لبنانيّةً. فمن بين كلّ الأوطان التي تمزّق كيانه، اختار الأكثر جحودًا، ولم يُجبَر عليه. خذله، وظلّ مريضًا بحبّه.
الآن هو ابن الأوطان كلّها. كلّ المنازل منازله، ولا منزل له. ميناؤه الوحيد صدر جدّةٍ غابت، وروحه، اسمه الأول، بكوته الأولى، هويّته الأولى، تأبى إفلات تلابيبها...
